At Take A Lead our goal is that you experience the benefits of a happy well trained dog through our dog walking training service.
Each dog is treated as an individual and we look at their unique personalities and their requirements. The benefits of training and walking will benefit you and your dog. Each walk is in a group of max 4 dogs per trainer.
Training Maintenance Group Walks
DOG WALKS, with a twist:
At Take a lead, training is at the heart of everything we do, so when your dog
come on a walk with us, that forms a vital part of each session.
We build on what your dog has already been trained through our puppy classes
or doggy day school. We teach your dog that the same level of obedience
applies in different environments despite many exciting distractions..
We focus on, come when called and general obedience skills like,
sit, stay, lead walking and leave it. We also train polite manners such as not jumping on
people, or the ball and wait when the van door opens for a release command to reinforce impulse control.
Of course, it’s not all work for your dog, but also time for some fun.
Learning to
interact and play nicely with the different dogs within the group is a very
important skill too.
$55 per session (including pick up and drop off of your dog)

Puppies must have had their 3rd puppy vaccination to be able to come on our puppy socialisation walks.
Walk & Train Service All members of the Take a Lead team are trained and qualified dog trainers and undergo regular training to maintain the highest standard of training.
